WEDDINGS IN THE HISTORIC DINING ROOM
Weston holds a civil license for weddings, which can take place in either the Music Room or historic Dining Room. Blessings and weddings ceremonies can also be held in the beautiful Parish Church of St Andrews, which is adjacent to the House. Set in 1,000 acres of parkland, the House is enclosed by a 5 mile perimeter wall. Whether it is a glorious Summer afternoon or a crisp Winter’s day, the Italian Broderie Gardens offer an exquisite location for photography whilst your guests can enjoy wandering at leisure through Weston’s delightful gardens with colourful flowerbeds and beautiful shrubbery.
The ground floor rooms of the House are stunning for a Champagne Reception and photography. The Marble Halls, complete with a grand marble staircase, leads into the Salons, originally an open courtyard which is now a gallery of a fine collection of paintings. The Victorian Library houses an impressive collection of 3,000 books and is an idyllic setting to relax.
The Wedding Breakfast can either be held in either the enchanting Victorian Orangery with natural stone walls offering superb views over the Italian Broderie Gardens or alternatively, the impressive historic Dining Room can also be used with Weston’s finest collection of paintings, including works by Van Dyck and Lely adorning the walls overlooking the terraced gardens. Delicious food is important to your celebration and Head Chef Guy Day and his brigade create beautifully executed seasonal dishes using the finest ingredients to create menus that standout from the crowd.
