We have seen it time and time again, couples who are planning their wedding choose a venue without really considering a crucial element – the catering!
Food is often compromised for other wedding expenses, and yet again, the guests are left to endure yet another rubbery chicken, bland potatoes and overcooked carrots. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having chicken on the menu, providing it is done well and is bursting with flavour.
The difference between a good wedding and a brilliant wedding is when all aspects of the event are considered, including the dining experience.
I had the wonderful opportunity to meet with the chefs at Hatfield House in Hertfordshire to experience their catering for weddings. This wedding menu inspiration, courtesy of venue, is set to seriously impress your guests and leave their taste buds tingling.

Hatfield House’s award-winning catering is provided by Leith’s, one of the most iconic names in event catering. Originally founded by Prue Leith in 1972, the brand prides itself on its strengths in banqueting.
