Discover a Unique Wedding Location in Kent

Leeds Castle, Maidstone, Kent, ME17 1PL

Known as “the loveliest castle in the world”, Leeds Castle is a true gem. Sometimes referred to as the Queen’s Castle, in its nearly 1000 year history it has been owned by six queens. If any castle can be described as feminine and romantic, Leeds Castle is it.

The county of Kent is the perfect county to discover a unique wedding venue like Leeds Castle. The venue is just a stone’s throw from London and is therefore easily accessible by road and rail, yet offers all the benefits of the beautiful countryside surroundings.

By Road:

Only 5 minutes off Junction 8 of the M20, it takes around an hour by car from London and guests will be ushered into a car park for wedding guests close to the Castle. The M25 also provides fast access from the north and west.

By Train:

The train from Victoria takes approximately one hour and brings guests within a short 4 mile taxi ride of either Bearsted or Hollingbourne stations. Alternatively for guests coming from across the Channel, we are only 20/25 miles from Ashford International, Ebbsfleet or the Eurotunnel Folkestone terminal.

By Air:

Gatwick Airport is only 45 miles from Leeds Castle and Heathrow around 65 miles on direct motorways.

For guests staying over, there are up to 40 rooms on the estate and we also have close links with two or three lovely local hotels.
